Despite having visited the Philippines on four separate occasions, I have barely scratched the surface in discovering what each part of the country needs to offer; therefore, I reached out to my fellow travel bloggers to check where they would recommend the best places. to go within the Philippines.
…being able to add a lot of places and activities to your travel wish list, I definitely have!
Apo Island
As advised by Hannah from Eat Sleep Breathe Travel
If your heart is in the ocean, then Apo Island might be a must see. A small island located on the Negros side, Apo Island's biggest draw is the indisputable fact that the world around the island is a dedicated marine sanctuary. The waters surrounding the island boast more than 600 species of fish and four hundred of the 450 species of coral found in the Philippines.
The biggest draw, however, is the population of sea turtles that make this place their home. The sea turtle area drive is almost safe viewing for anyone visiting, and although touching or chasing is not allowed, it is easy to get up close and even swim alongside these magnificent creatures. If you are lucky, you may also see thresher sharks, whales, and manta rays. It is an Associate in Nursing underwater wonderland good for different Aqua-Lung of all levels and divers.
I wanna go? guests will stay on Apo Island or make day trips from the nearby towns of Dauin or Dumaguete on Negros Island. It is possible to go year round, looking at the weather. Please note that there is a tour fee for all guests returning to the marine sanctuary with proceeds assisting to protect the world.
Banau
As a married woman from Live, Dream, Discover advises
The Philippines is a spectacularly beautiful country noted for its gorgeous beaches and world-class scuba diving, so it's understandable that for many, those places tie together the reasons to visit and beach destinations are also voted top places to visit in Philippines. However, nine hours north and inland from Manila lies a place of witchcraft that has remained untouched for the last two thousand years.
In the Ifuego region of the Philippines, you'll notice the spectacle of the Banaue Rice Terraces alongside many lesser-known but equally spectacular alternative terraces. The area is considered to be an Eighth Wonder of the World and a couple of the terraces are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
It's hard to succeed in Banaue, but the unimaginable collaboration between man and nature is definitely worth it. These magnificent terraces were engraved by hand and the unit area is still cultivated and harvested in the same method by the ancestors of those artists centuries later. it's actually one of those places you have to see to fully believe and appreciate.
Tagaytay
As advised by Ruben de Guttersnipe someone
Our favourite place to go within the Philippines is Tagaytay. There are several plans to try to reach Tagaytay. In the early morning, you should catch the sunrise as it reveals the magnificent views of Crater Lake volcano. Get an honest read and see the mist and clouds swimming over the crater lake, because the sun rises to start the day. We have a tendency to drive food lovers and we love to enjoy local cuisine.
Tagaytay is known for its Bulalo, an overdone Filipino beef soup with fresh vegetables, Barako low (local ground coffee), and Buko (coconut) cake. Confirm you get a style of all 3! If you want to travel, the simplest setup is to hike the Taal Volcano and revel in the highest views from the crater. It's a terribly simple hike, around three hours and you can even ride a horse if you don't want to walk. At the end of the day, make sure you find a good spot to watch the sunset. Also, have a nice midnight ride as the weather is refreshing in Tagaytay, terribly windy though not too cold.
Coron
As Lina from Divergent Travellers advice
Without a doubt, Coron is our pick for presenting the best places to visit in the Philippines. While the general public flies into Coron City, pays everyday in town and everyday visiting Coron Island, they honestly miss out on the experience of this space, which is why I love it.
While the general public area unit is busy getting the job done, there is rustic wilderness to explore in the interior of Busuanga Island and remote islands that see little to no visitors. They provide white sand beaches and healthy coral reefs to explore. You really get the feeling of being alone, not like many alternative places in the world these days. While staying in Coron city is good for the first two days, we tend to recommend going to the Busuanga coast and staying in the more remote areas. Another great option is to travel by kayak, with the support of a Banca boat, and navigate slowly on the islands.
