I believe travelling and taking a vacation is one thing that makes all of us agitated and happy. And since 2018 had a lot to offer with its long weekends, we wanted to make the utmost of it too.

Both my wife and I wanted to explore South India and while I was looking for places we could visit, the breakouts, hospices, and more, my wife mentioned about her friend who had lately come back from her honeymoon in Kerala.
Both my wife and I wanted to explore South India and while I was looking for places we could visit, the breakouts, hospices, and more, my wife mentioned about her friend who had lately come back from her honeymoon in Kerala.
Like every curious couple, it got us to check their filmland on social media, which made us call her to understand about her trip plan. She mentioned one name and that was Make True Trip. It was new to us so I incontinently checked up the website and I must say I was impressed in no time. The fact that they allow trippers to customise their vacation and choose between different quotations as per one’s budget completely won me over! I reserved our trip with them, and was again amazed with their smooth booking process where they included all the places to visit on a romantic Kerala trip and the must-have- have guests for that we were looking for.
Places to visit on a romantic Kerala trip that made our vacation magical
Day 1 Enroute Munnar
We landed in Kerala on a Friday around1.30 in the autumn from where a motorist picked us up in an A/ C Maruti Indica and we left for Munnar. It was a beautiful road trip. The scenic views along the way, including many stirring falls, had left the two of us in admiration.
As the motorist was veritably familiar with the route, it didn’t take us too much time to reach the destination. By 4, we were there standing and esteeming Munnar like it was a dream! Our hostel-‘The Munnar Queen’ was positioned right in the heart of the hills and it looked as gorgeous as was described to us. Actually, it's one of the stylish places to stay in Munnar. Ours was a vale facing room with stylish service and food. We took the day off to relax, and enjoyed the view from our deck.
Day 2 Visiting Rose Garden, Tea Factory & more in Munnar
In the coming morning, we woke up only realising that it wasn’t a dream, but a paradise that we had actually stepped in. It was time for a sightseeing stint and our motorist was formerly staying for us outside the hostel. After having a hearty breakfast, we got ready and made sure that we didn’t make him stay longer.
As we left, he guided us towards the stylish spots and lodestones on the way. Piecemeal from the surreal tea auditoriums, we also visited places like the Elephant Garden, Rose Garden, Dam, Tea Factory Museum. Each of these places were mesmerising in their own way and we couldn’t help but peer at them and capture many recollections there.
Later in the evening, we went for an authentic Kerala massage and also took the day off.
Day 3 Houseboat stay in Alleppey
This day was the time when we had to bid farewell to the serene hills of Munnar and leave for Alleppey. On our way to the backwoods’ city, we visited the Spice Theatre on the way to buy some authentic Kerala sauces.
By 2 in the autumn, we had eventually reached our houseboat where we ate with a drink. The boat also left from the wharf, and incontinently after which the chef had served lip-smacking lunch for us.
We savoured it in no time as both of us were too agitated for witnessing the scenic views from the houseboat, and for taking filmland. The houseboat motorist was gracious enough to offer us his seat to get a sense of manoeuvring a boat.
While cruising, we also bought some fresh fish from the request. By evening, we had reached the cessation point where the boat was to hold up till the coming morning. While the boat was at rest, we took the backseat as well, relaxed, and soaked up the peace from the deck roof with some tea.
At night, the chef had made fish for us for regale and it turned out to be the most memorable feast of the trip. After enjoying the view of the stars for long hours, we eventually called it a night.
Day 4 Bidding farewell to Kerala
On the last day of our trip, the houseboat dropped us back at the boarding point in the morning where our motorist was staying for us to drop us at the field. On the way, we visited the Lulu Mall to protect some monuments and have the last luscious lunch in Kerala. Our trip had eventually come to an end, and it wasn’t a happy feeling to bid farewell to this beauty in South India. But, the recollections and moments only made up for that feeling and we eventually headed home.
Hassle-free, substantiated, and absolutely inconceivable is how our vacation experience was. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, thanks to our motorist and Godwin Leaves. From all the ideal places to visit on a romantic Kerala trip to indulging in sweet gifts like shopping like an original, we did all of it!
